  • This test method is used to obtain a quantitative indication of the rate of moisture vapor emission from the surface of a concrete floor.
  • Specifications are observed to determine whether or not a floor is acceptable for floor covering.
  • The moisture vapor emission rate only reflects the concrete’s condition at the time of the test.
  • The results obtained from this test therefore may not indicate future conditions.
